Well, its the end of Week 1 of 2012, and I have to say - its not been a bad first week. Whether I'm able to keep it up, I've no idea, but lets hope so, as if I'm going to be successful in this challenge then I really do need to keep running, keep training, and hopefully some how manage to cope with 5 runs a week.
So, in this first week, I've had to get back to the day job, and got the training runs in in the evenings. As it was only the first week of training, the adidas micoach app (my training method) has been relatively kind to me. 5 runs, 4 of which were 20 minutes and one, todays Sunday long run being 30 minutes. I've managed to cover just over 9 miles, which isn't any sort of mileage really, but for me, it's a pleasing start and the most I've run in a week since the last half marathon back in early October.
